Washington Post, December 12, 2019 reports, "And some environmentalists tout its ability to lock up carbon to combat climate change."

 To be sure, not all environmentalists agree, but carbon capture, in its myriad forms, is the obvious solution.  If there's too much CO2 in the atmosphere, take it out.
